Job Description

Description
The Nursing Assistant provides supportive care as a member of the care team under the direction of the RN according to the policies and procedures in the Department of Nursing. Demonstrates the following: ability to take direction; able to handle and complete multiple tasks and assignments; active involvement as a care team member, effective interpersonal skills; accountability and professionalism.


Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  1. Current Nursing Assistant registry (CNA certification) required or currently enrolled as a nursing student and have completed one clinical rotation.
  2. Must have current AHA CPR certification.
  3. Prior pediactric experience preferred
  4. Strong customer service skills preferred
